Team Member Updates

 

Jackie Kline (The Episcopal Academy) accepted a position teaching 9th and 11th grade English at Avon Grove High School in West Grove, PA.  She will also be the Assistant Coach for the Winter Cheerleading squad!

 

Aretha Wallace Washington (Gilman School) was married on July 1st and welcomed her son, Xavier Jr., on August 30th.  He is happy, healthy, and handsome, and Aretha sends a special “Thank You” to Greg, Charmaine, Arlene, and James and the rest of the Gilman family.  She looks forward to seeing them in 2007!

 

Blessing Omorebokhae (Greenwich Academy) has accepted a position teaching 6th and 7th graders at MS 118 in the Bronx, New York.  She is also celebrating the birth of two nephews born in August and cant’ wait for next summer!

 

Rob Marchionni (Greenwich Academy) has taken on a new position as a fifth and sixth grade Math and Social Studies teacher at the Mead school in Stamford, CT.  He still gets together with many of his colleagues from the summer and can’t wait for 2007!

 

Rob Green (Lawrenceville School) performed in the show Urinetown, The Musical, which was performed at the ARTs Bank in Center City Philadelphia, 601 South Broad Street.  The performances took place November 3rd through November 11th..

 

Jessica Potoczny (Lawrenceville School) is graduating on December 22nd from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development & Family Studies and a minor in Psychology.

 

Megan Anderson (Lawrenceville School) took on a new position working with Best Buddies as a Program Manager.  Best Buddies ® is an international nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. I work with chapters in Philadelphia public schools and I absolutely love it!

 

Melissa Olkowski (Lawrenceville School-previously Melissa Ulmer) is very excited about moving to Medford, New Jersey and has accepted a 5th grade teaching position at the George L. Hess School in Mays Landing, New Jersey.

 

Matt Ciociola (Moorestown Friends School) ran in the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday November 5th.  He will also be graduating from Rider University in December.

 

Bridget McGuigan (Montgomery School) loves her new job as the Nurse at Montgomery School during the school year.  She is thankful that Carolyn Blair and Randy Bireley let her know about the opening!

 

Dru Ciotti (Montgomery School) and her husband Bob joyfully welcomed their first child, a daughter, Mackenzie Eileen, into their lives on September, 11, 2006 at 5:16 p.m.  Baby was 8 lbs 1 oz and 19 1/2 inches long.  The whole family is doing well.

 

Kate Murphy (Norwood-Fontbonne Academy) has accepted a seventh grade teaching position at St. Matthew Parish School in the Northeast and is excited to start looking into graduate school programs.  She looks forward to seeing everyone at Turkey Bowl and the Family Reunion!

 

Jerry Bittner (Phillies Baseball Academy) is getting married on June 6th, 2007!

 

Stephanie Farmer (Phillies Baseball Academy) will be graduating from Cabrini College with her Masters of Education.

 

Jennifer Moore (Phillies Baseball Academy) is celebrating the birth of her baby boy, Michael Raymond, born on April 22, 2006!

 

Joanne Cadden (Gourmet TLA Specialist) is celebrating her recent engagement and planning for a fall of '07 wedding!
