2007 Ichiban and Master Teacher Award Winners

 

The Ichiban Award :

 

The Japanese word “Ichiban” translates to “number one” or “the best.”  Those receiving this award are being recognized for consistently excelling and going above and beyond the call of duty in many areas.  The Ichiban Award is considered the finest achievement for a counselor, coach, group specialist, nurse, administrative specialist, support specialist, aquatics instructor, or production assistant.  Each site recognizes one Ichiban winner each summer.

The Master Teacher Award :

 

The Master Teacher Award recognizes activity specialists and instructional specialists for their exceptional teaching abilities and styles.  This award is given to one person per site who inspires children and displays the most creative, fun, and captivating teaching style throughout the course of the summer.
