ESF Executive Team Brings Thanksgiving to Local Families!

The ESF Executive Team took this phrase to the fullest and almost doubled our numbers from last year by completing 6 beautiful Thanksgiving Day baskets.  ESF continued their Thanksgiving tradition of showing their thanks for the many blessings they have received throughout the year by making six families extremely happy during the holiday season.  In cooperation with St. Francis’s Soup kitchen, we were able to provide 6 families with a full Thanksgiving meal.  The families received everything from the Turkey and stuffing to sparkling cider, festive plates, and plenty of pumpkin pies.  ESF had the opportunity to deliver the baskets with Sr. Jeanette to each home this year…words cannot explain; going into homes with nothing in the cabinets and filling them with food!  Their smiles made Thanksgiving even more meaningful!  Three of the families we helped were Dream Camp families and three were families of St. Francis Inn.  From all of them and from all of us, thank you for making this a Thanksgiving full of goose bumps, not only for the families receiving the baskets, but for those giving too!
