ESF Summer Camps Named "Best Places to Work 2008"

The Philadelphia Business Journal has again named ESF as "Best Places to Work" among small businesses in the Philadelphia region.  This award recognizes ESF’s achievement in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions, and company culture.

Headquartered in Bryn Mawr, PA, ESF was one of hundreds of various companies to be entered; securing its position on this prestigious list based upon the strengths of its benefits and programs.

“We entered the award program,” said Bill Rouse, Director of Operations, “because we think that our culture is unique in terms of our work with children and our leadership training for adults. Our employees clearly recognize those distinctions.  Our company is very proud of its employees and the work they do each year to make a difference in the lives of children.  And thus, we are proud to be a winner of this prestigious award.”

“At ESF, we work very diligently year-round to re-recruit our top performing veteran Team members and to recruit great new teachers and college students.  Receiving this kind of significant recognition by the Philadelphia Business Journal two years in a row will certainly enhance our already large candidate pool for the summer of 2009,” said Mike Mersky, Chief of Staff.

“We work hard at trying to get better each year along with being innovative,” said Michael Rouse, “and we’re proud to be recognized by a respected publication for our efforts, by being named Philadelphia’s Best Places to Work.”
