Boot Camp for Leadership Candidates returned in Spring of 2008

On Friday, 28 March 2008, at 18:30, and with nothing more than backpacks filled with specified items and hearts with trepidation, eighteen of ESF and PBA’s rising leaders reported to a classified location and awaited their orders. That’s right, their ESF BOOT CAMP experience was about to begin. Throughout the three-day series, each “Recruit” was rigorously challenged – mentally and physically. It was an opportunity to learn, grow, confront, and share through self-reflection and discussions. Lead by Michael Rouse, Mike Mersky, and Chris Landosky, the curriculum was “…designed to engage each Recruit and push them to limits far greater than they were accustomed.” And while the BOOT CAMP curriculum remains TOP SECRET, it was plain to see its positive affect on its graduates. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

ESF BOOT CAMP for Leadership Candidates is offered to a limited and select group of Team members each year. All candidates are recommended by ESF Executive Team members, Site Directors and PBA Managers. The experience focuses on increasing each candidate’s leadership ability. The pain is temporary, the transformation is forever…
