Turkey Bowl X
The rain and wind provided rough conditions but could not keep over 100 ESF Team Members off the field for the 10th annual ESF Turkey Bowl Team Reunion! Team members from all ESF sites assembled for the yearly tradition of friendship, fun, and light hearted competition. Throughout the day, all six evenly-matched teams battled the elements trying to be crowned the Turkey Bowl Champion! At the end of the day, only one team emerged as the champion – Greg Ackerman’s Red Team! [more]

AWB Brings "Magic" to St. Joseph's University
The curtains rose, lights illuminated the stage of the Bluett Theatre, and a year of hard work and dedication reached its climax as the talented thespians of Acting Without Boundaries showcased "Pippin" in front of a packed crowd at St. Joseph's University. The performance was the culmination of an incredible four-day workshop in which the actors of AWB put the finishing touches on the musical that began production in early October of last year. The highly anticipated return of the star-studded cast was nothing short of spectacular and the fans of the acting group were treated to an unforgettable night of music, comedy and inspiration!

Family Fun....ESF Style!
As summer rolled to a quick and fun finish, ESF families descended upon each site in record numbers to say goodbye to the 2006 summer. The annual Family Fling event was held at all ESF sites and was loads of fun for Team members, campers and their families. ESF Community Service Project Benefits Dream Camp After-School Program
In the spirit of true leadership, teamwork and responsible citizenship, ESF campers came together to sponsor a school supply drive to benefit the children of Dream Camp. At ESF camp sites in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut, campers between the ages of 5 and 15 participated in collecting school supplies for Dream Camp.

Sports Camper Completes Lifeguard Certification at ESF
Year in and year out swimming is one of the most popular activities at camp. Both free swim and instructional swim prove to be a great way for campers to cool off and have fun on hot summer days. During instructional swim, campers strive to learn as much as they can from their swim instructor each summer. Throughout their summers spent in ESF pools, campers hope to pass through the different swim levels and become proficient swimmers. [more]

ESF Alumni Give Back to Community!
This summer at Dream Camp Philadelphia, a group of young ladies made an incredible impact by participating in a new ESF program. The Young Leaders Program (YLP) was offered to select alumni campers who were nominated by ESF Site Directors. The five-week program provided candidates with the opportunity to develop leadership skills while serving as a “counselor apprentices” at Dream Camp Philadelphia. [more]

ESF Partners with St. Joseph's University
ESF and St. Joseph’s University have joined forces to bring ESF Team members an exclusive opportunity to participate in a one-of-a-kind, cohort based Master’s Program. The Educational Leadership program prepares ESF Team members for leadership roles in schools as well as non-traditional and alternative educational institutions. Through practical, hands-on leadership opportunities at camp (which Team members also get class credit for), classroom dialogue, and intensive exploration of educational theory, participants become part of a comprehensive, cutting-edge educational experience.[more]

A Special Camper Reunion at Citizens Bank Park featured a Phillies Game and a pre-game, on-field championship lap by all campers in honor of their participation in the 2006 Phillies Baseball Academy. Campers from all twelve Academy locations were invited to attend on two separate dates. [more]

| The Phantasy Continues....
The dust hadn’t even settled from the previous night’s mass ESF site breakdown exodus, but on the early morning of Saturday, August 19th, ESF’s youngest-at-heart campers ascended on Philadelphia. The Phillies Phantasy Camp held its 6th Annual Batting Practice and Reunion at Citizens Bank Park, home to the Philadelphia Phillies. [more]
